Microbial Cell Factories Webinar Series
Biological Principles to Commercial Products
11th March, 25th March & 8th April, 17:00-19:00 CET
The Horizon 2020 Industrial Biotechnology Projects TOPCAPI and CHASSY are co-organising a webinar series that will be relevant to academic and industrial participants with an interest in designing and building microbial cell factories that will function at scale.
The series will focus on microbial cell factory development from concept to commercial development and all stages in-between. The aim is to provide a holistic overview of the challenges, approaches and opportunities at the different technology levels. Experts from academia and industry will share their knowledge on in silico design and reprogramming of microbial strains (11th March), on strain engineering approaches to build cell factories (25th March), and on compound analysis and transferring technology to commercial scale (8th April).
Webinars will be introduced by project co-ordinators Prof. Eriko Takano (University of Manchester, UK) and Prof. John Morrissey (University College Cork, Ireland) and feature a keynote lecture and project case-studies. Registration is free and individual for each webinar.
